Home from the beach...

This years Myrtle Beach vacation was such a blast!! We liked it so much we booked the same place for 2 weeks next year before we left! There was sooooo much to do, we couldn't fit it all in. Hunter enjoyed the beach and riding his boogie board, ALL DAY LONG!!!! Todd and I enjoyed sitting on the beach and watching everyday. On Thursday we got to see a 3ft. shark swim onto the beach. It was very cool, unfortunately, Hunter was at the movies with his cousin so he missed it. I didn't get back in the water that day either! Hunter climbed his first rock wall and made it much farther than we expected! He is our little monkey boy! Monkey see, monkey do!!! It was great to spend some time with Todd's Aunts, Uncles and cousins. We can't wait to do it again next year!

Ocean City Trip

This past weekend, my sister and I took the kids to OC. My parents were there on vacation, and we couldn't let them have a full week of quiet time without their grandkids! No Way!!!! We went over Wed. and came home Fri. night. The kids had a blast! We went on a Pirate Adventure where they got to fight a mean pirate, pull up treasure and found a message in a bottle. It was about an hour long boat ride in the canal. Very cute! It was the highlight of Hunter's trip! Now we are doing laundry and packing everything up for our family vacation in Myrtle Beach! We leave on Sat. and I can't wait to have my toes in the sand and a drink (of water of course) in my hand!

Independence Day 2008

Hunter had a great time with the sparklers this year!
We celebrated the 4th at Aunt Judy and Uncle Mark's, then went over my friend Keri's on the 5th. She is a friend from work who has a son, Blake, who is the same age as Hunter. They play very well together. As you can see he enjoyed the fireworks too! We had a great time and hope everyone else did too. We are still trying to recuperate from our BUSY weekend!

Orioles vs. Royals with the Girls!

My office took us to the O's game for an outing. It was alot of fun! They reserved a room for us and had it catered w/ food and drinks! A few of the "fun" girls went out to Pickles Pub after. Girls and drinks out on the town...you know that is trouble! We all made it home safely though. I even passed Todd's quiz on who won the game, who we played, what the score was and in what inning did we win! I am not a big baseball fan and he wanted to see if I payed any attention to the game... I showed him! I scored an A+;)

First Crabs of the Season!

It takes muscle to get into these crabs! He did great for his first time picking his own meat!

Just to give you an idea of how big.... Remember Coors Light cans are taller than normal coke or pepsi cans!
This is how we do in in Maryland!!! Today Todd's boss treated us to dinner, we had the best crabs! As the pictures show they were almost as big as Hunter. He also learned how to clean his own crabs today. He's 4, so it's about time he learned! He did a good job, of course we checked them when he was done!

Sweet Summertime!

Today we spent the day outside learning how to do the Slip and Slide, and washing mommy's new car. Mommy said I was very amusing while sliding all over the place. Those things are hard to get the hang of. It was Hot, Hot, Hot!!! I had a blast! Tonight our friends are coming over and we are going to have our first crabs of the season! Yum! Mommy said we can have some smore's later too! I love summertime!!!!

Just Us...

I was just looking through my folders on the computer, and came across this picture and decided to post it. I love this picture of us, and it sums up our summers perfectly! We love to be on the water, on the boat, or at the beach. Hunter loves to go fishing or crabbing with Daddy. They have cought a few fish this year, but crabs aren't running well yet. I can't wait for our first of many crab feasts this year!

My new baby...

I love my new car, and the new car smell! I just want to sit in it all day! My neighbors may think I'm loco!

2008 Lake Shore Royals MVP!

T-ball is OVER!!!

Hunter's t-ball season has finally come to an end. I think it was the longest season EVER! April until the middle of June!!! He had a great time and learned alot. It is so fun to watch him play and get so excited over learning new things. He was one of the "big hitters" on the team, and was one of the youngest! We think baseball may be his nitch. I would like him to try lacrosse when he is old enough, but I don't know if that is going to happen ;(

For the time being, we are enjoying the summer. Playing outside and swimming take up most of our days. Lots of campfires and smores occupy our evenings now too! I have started my summer hours, so I am home at 2pm, and I am loving it!

We just bought a new car this weekend (the transmission died in my old one) and I absolutely LOVE it! It's an '08 nissan altima. Nice and big enough for another infant car seat...maybe.

Hunter also got a new 4 wheeler for christmas that he LOVES to ride! He looks so cute in all his gear!

The Beck Times

Hello All! We are a family of 3, with a wonderful son, Hunter. He is 4 years old, and full of energy! He loves to play all sports including flag football, t-ball, lacrosse and anything else! Todd and I have been married for 4 years and can't believe it! We were high school sweethearts, I was 16, and Todd was 17, when we met. We had weight training class together and the rest was history. Come to find out, our parents were actually old friends from the police force. Todd's dad was the cheif of police for the county. It is great to have our families get along so great!

I work part time as an orthodontic assistant, and Todd works for an oil company. Needless to say, he is very busy in the winter! We are patiently awaiting spring, so we can have some fun family time!

Hunter starts t-ball for lakeshore the end of the month. I am sure that will occupy alot of our time. In September he will start Pre-School at Pasadena Methodist 3 days a week! I am going to be soooo sad!

Enjoy our blog, we would love to hear from you!
